CEZC Administers 21st Century Community Learning Centers

In addition to its economic development initiatives, the CEZC also administers highly successful education programs, most notably its 21st Century Community Learning Centers program (21st CCLC Program). Under this program, after school and summer learning opportunities are provided to students at 4 Cumberland County schools, serving in excess of 200 youth each year. With more than 17 community and school partners providing programming to these students, the success of the CEZC’s 21st CCLC program is demonstrated by the State’s recent decision to approve a third round of 5-year funding for the CEZC’s program, totaling $2.5 million. This is in addition to many other sources of supplemental funding that the CEZC accesses to augment the program.
